Tassos Viglas has been awarded the George Van Ness Lothrop Fellowship in Engineering for the 2000-01 academic year. This award is one of the university honorific fellowships given each year by the Graduate School to students in their final year of graduate work. The honorific fellowships recognize outstanding performance and professional promise and represent high commendation from the Graduate School.
